We had a great time! Your house is wonderful. We loved your decor and thought it was very spacious and well designed. You have great taste. The pool was perfect and we saw many manatees and porpoises as we sat and gazed at the bay. Staying at your place really allowed us to relax. The house had EVERYTHING we needed--beach towels, bath towels, etc.--so we didn't have to waste extra money or scramble trying to bring these items. Staying at your home was just like being in our own home: we felt relaxed and content each and every day. Thank you so much! In addition, we have some good news: my sister and her boyfriend dropped down for a day, and they were so enchanted with your pier that he ran out and bought a ring somewhere on the island and proposed to her that evening! It was so wonderful. I think they are going to send you some pictures. We all want to return.

One final note: one other house was very close in the running when we decided to pick your home for my folks' fortieth wedding anniversary (and, as it turns out, my sister's engagement!). Out of curiosity, we drove by our second choice pick the first week we were on the island, and boy were we glad that we chose your house instead! You were so right about your home being in a more upscale neighborhood with conscientious neighbors. We hope to be guests again in the future! - Doug, Alabama

Dear Jim, Our family has stayed at an oceanfront condo during the Thanksgiving week for the past 20 years. Due to the ever increasing size of the family, it was necessary to make arrangements for additional space this past Thanksgiving in order to accommodate the whole clan. Your home was selected, and we were absolutely delighted with out decision from the moment we opened the front door! Your home exudes an ambience rarely seen in rental properties. The furnishings in the home are beautiful as well as functional. The amenities are great, and the location superb. We considered the rental price for the eleven days we were there to be very reasonable. There is nothing we would change about your home. Dear Mardis Family, We cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful home on Marco Island. It was everything we had hoped for and more! Everything from the decorating to the pool were above and beyond! We loved the hot tub and watching sunsets from it each night! Our 3 small boys loved watching manatees and fishing with their dad from the pier. And I loved the jacuzzi in the master bath... I almost didn't come home! We enjoyed watching movies with the surround sound, just as though we were at the movies!! The home was immaculate when we arrived and it felt more like we were staying at a 5 star hotel than a private home! It was truly the best 2 weeks we have had in a long time! Thank you ever so much! We had such a wonderful time in your lovely home. There were so many luxuries but our absolute favorite part of the house were the sliding glass doors that opened up the living room to the "outdoors". We have been coming to the Island for about 8 years now and this is by far the best house we've ever stayed in. It's also one of the best locations for boating. (Thank you for letting us use the boat dock.) The kids thoroughly enjoyed fishing from the dock and we even saw a manatee right at our very feet! This was one of our best vacations ever. Your Marco Island home is lovely! We enjoyed every minute we spent in the house, from the designer kitchen to the lofty family room, the comfortable bedrooms to the fabulous pool and hot tub. But I think we stayed out on the lanai most of our time at the house - what a relaxing and beautiful view, especially with the occasional boat traffic to make it interesting. The kids thought having their own pool was 100 times better than using a hotel pool! And one member of our party, who knows quite a bit about building houses, felt the house was extremely well-built and exquisitely decorated. We would love to stay in your home again and would recommend it to anyone!

We had a wonderful time. House was beautiful–unfortunately the hot tub was broke all week along with the pool heater.
